Abby holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from American University, with preparation in secondary mathematics and special education, and a B.S. in Physics from Washington and Lee University. She brings classroom experience as a lead middle-school mathematics teacher.
How I teach
She identifies where understanding begins to break down, then adapts explanations, examples and pacing. Her approach strengthens earlier foundations while keeping current coursework moving.
Areas of focus
Foundational mathematics, pre-algebra, algebra and mathematical reasoning.
