The Heart Behind Noor
Noor means light.
The name reflects the heart of the company Dina was inspired to create: a place where students are met with understanding, guided with integrity, and helped to recognize the ability within themselves.
Throughout school, university, and her years as a professional tutor, Dina discovered that her greatest strength was not simply mastering difficult material. It was understanding the student in front of her. She brought empathy and emotional intelligence into every lesson, recognizing the discouragement behind avoidance, the fear beneath frustration, and the difference it made when a child felt genuinely seen.
With a background in Biomedical Sciences, a lifelong instinct for teaching, and the experience of being the eldest of five daughters, Dina combined academic discipline with wisdom, patience, and sincere care. Grounded in faith and guided by integrity, she approached each student as a responsibility entrusted to her, not merely an assignment to complete.
Over time, her students began to exceed the expectations they had once placed upon themselves. Difficult subjects became less intimidating. Questions replaced hesitation. Confidence returned, and students began to recognize that they were not incapable, they simply needed to be understood and taught in a way that reached them.
Parents felt the difference as well. Homework became less overwhelming, tension began to soften, and their children approached school with greater confidence. Families gained the reassurance of knowing that someone was paying attention not only to the assignment, but to the child behind it.
These experiences became the foundation of the The Noor Method™, a thoughtful approach that brings together academic strategy, emotional understanding, individualized instruction, and a sincere belief in each student’s potential.
